I want to be a teacher more than anything else in the world because I want all students to have an equal opportunity at learning. I am a first-generation student and when I was in elementary school I struggled to keep up due to the language barriers. I want to be a stepping-stool for students who may face the same barriers in my classroom. Not only students but parents as well, my parents were always nervous to go to my classroom because of the language difference so it kept them from being involved in my education. I want parents to grow with their students and be involved as much as possible. I want all students to believe in their capabilities and develop a growth mindset.
